Oklevueha Native American Church of Kautantowit's Mecautea would like to take a few moments to have you get to better know our tribal leaders. 

Sachem Healer 'Hawkeye' Graves

 

 

Oklevueha Native American Church of Kautantowit's Mecautea is very honored to introduce to all of you, the reason their is our branch of ONAC Kautantowit's Mecautea, ourSachem Healer, 'Hawkeye' Graves.

 

 Hawkeye was born in the summer of 1973 in West Los Angeles County, California to her parents, Mr. Raymond W. 'Bub' Graves Jr. & Joy Callista Robison, both also of Los Angeles, California.

 

 Her father's grandmother is recognized by Tribal Roll of the Narragansett tribal nation of Rhode Island, and her mother is of the Cherokee & Blackfoot Natons, unregistered but the federal government does note the Cherokee connection and loyalty historically. 

 

 'Hawkeye' spent much of her childhood learning and enjoying the cultures of the  tribes at the decision of her father. 

 

 She humbly and yet pridefully was gifted and blessed with her name 'Hawkeye' from Bruce & Desiree Sam of the Burns Paiute Tribe of Oregon. 

President & Medicine Healer 'Talq-Talq' Timm

 

 

 Oklevueha Native American Church of Kautantowit's Mecautea is very happy to present to you our branch Medicine Healer,  Timothy Paul 'Talq-Talq' Timm.

 

 'Talq-Talq' was born the 5th generation of his father's lines in the beautiful Pacific Northwest in what's known as "Rose City" - Portland, Oregon.  

 

  His father's mother taught only him the history of their Dorset Greenland Paleo-Eskimo heritage and how they came about to root in NW Oregon.

 

 'Talq-Talq' was born a 7 minute elder paternal twin, and eldest son of his father.

 

          His mother is of the lines of Cherokee Nation tribal blood.

 

 'Talq-Talq' was blessed with the honor of his tribal name from Bruce & Desiree Sam of the Burns Paiute Tribe of Oregon.

 

 He has two children, eldest is his daughter Rasheal, whose motheris of Cherokee Nation bloodline mix, and his son Brandon, whose mother is of Siletz Nation blood mix. His daughter has two children, and his son is about to have a daughter whose mother is of the Blackfoot bloodline.

            Bruce Timothy Sam 

 

 

 Oklevueha Native American Church of Kautantowit's Mecautea is very happy to present to you our branch Medicine Healer,  Mr. Bruce Timothy Sam!

 

 Bruce was born of an endless generation of Burns Paiute and has spent the great majority on the "Grandmother" Reservation in Burns, Oregon.

 

  His father and mother ensured Bruce know the traditional history and language of their Paiute people.

 

Bruce was born __ of __ of the total children his parents have had throughout the days of their lives. His father Clifford served Honorably in the military in defense of Turtle Island and also was a Golden Glove boxer, as was his son Bruce as well.

 

 Bruce was blessed with the honor of his tribal name from his father, to which he is his father's clone, but Admits he Is a Momma's boy overall!

 

 Bruce married the love of his life Clydia "Dee" Thissel Dobson, who was born and reared in nearby Seneca, Oregon, where Bruce's mother herself was also born but in her tribe and literally into a tipi BEFORE the ssimiltion and establishment of the Burns Paiute Reservation was established!

 

 

  Bruce & Dee spent many wonderful years in love, and shared a great many more memories, both good and bad. Dee raised Desiree predominently in Seneca, thought she spent the majority of her childhood fighting nd earning her way into the tribe and onto the Burns Rez, which she successfully has as she is now on the Tribal Counsel!

 

 

 

 

 His daughter Desiree Willow Sam, has blessed his heart and his life with three beautiful grandchildren, eldest granddaughter Tempest Grace, followed by granddaughter Peyton and baby grandson Nakoa whom are absolutely the lives of his life, except for his daughter of course!

 

 

  Thru Dee's previous marriage, Bruce has happily as well as pridefully added a beautiful step-daughter to his tribe, who he's had the pride of raising as his own since she was tinytot, and in her he has five more grandchildren ~ both girls and ALL 8 grandbaby's together are the pride of his heart and the fuel to the fire that drives his spirit thru life... His Family!

 

 

 

 

      So, From Oklevueha Native American Church of Kautantowit's Mecautea... we WELCOME you to our                                      Tribal Family!
